This work is part of my recent project exploring how bodies and environments are shaped by consumption and systems of control. Through clean-up dives in the Oslofjord, I collect human-made remnants that have become entangled with marine ecosystems and incorporate them into my ceramic sculptures.
What does it mean to live with what cannot be refused? At what point does intrusion become part of a body, or of an ecosystem?
